Brian Miller has been researching and reviving this under-appreciated branch of the Irish tradition for 10 years. In this workshop, he will sing and teach songs, play rare archival recordings, show historical photos and tell the stories of the men behind the songs. Singers and non-singers alike will enjoy this fascinating look at the history and music of northern Wisconsin and the broader Great Lakes region.
