Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School Covid Policy
Subject to change as requirements evolve - last updated July 28, 2022
The Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School believes that with effective and safe vaccines readily available, we can hold in person, indoor classes with relative safety under certain conditions. We will be observing the following Covid-19 mitigation practices:
Each registered student will require proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or a negative test. We will ask to review:
- A vaccination card or a photo of the card (from your smartphone/device is acceptable)
- Or proof of either a negative PCR or antigen (rapid) test taken no earlier than Sunday, August 14, 2022 for Monday through Thursday classes, or no earlier than Thursday, August 18, 2022 for Friday sampler classes and workshops.
- Photo ID - driver’s license, state ID, etc.
This requirement also applies to musicians, teachers, and volunteers.
We ask that anyone with symptoms of illness during the Summer School week to stay home.
Masks: Per the Milwaukee Health Department, Milwaukee County moved into the CDC's high level of community spread and issued the following mask advisory:
All individuals, regardless of vaccination status or past COVID-19 infection, should wear a mask at all times when indoors and in a public setting. This advisory applies to all individuals in Milwaukee over the age of two years who can medically tolerate wearing a mask.
We realize that the Covid situation is rapidly changing and are hopeful that conditions will continue to relax. Whenever there is new information or guidelines, we will post them here.
