Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School Covid Policy

Subject to change as requirements evolve

The Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School believes that with effective and safe vaccines readily available, we can hold in person, indoor classes with relative safety under certain conditions. We will be observing the following Covid-19 mitigation practices:

Each registered student will require proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or a negative test. We will ask to review:

  • A vaccination card or a photo of the card (from your smartphone/device is acceptable)
  • Or proof of either a negative PCR or antigen test taken no earlier than Monday, August 15, 2022 for Monday through Thursday classes, or no earlier than Friday, August 19, 2022 for Friday sampler classes and workshops.
  • Photo ID - driver’s license, state ID, etc.

This requirement also applies to musicians, teachers, and volunteers.

Masks are recommended to be worn: exceptions are instructors while teaching a class, flute and whistle classes, or if actively eating or drinking.

We realize that the Covid situation is rapidly changing and are hopeful that conditions will continue to relax. Whenever there is new information or guidelines, we will post them here.
