Note: Celtic Kids Camp students will provide their own lunch.
Celtic Kids Camp students will also get to perform at Milwaukee Irish Fest (dates TBA).
Instructors include: Brett Lipshutz (tin whistle), Scott Cincotta (bodhrán), Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin (kids ceili/social dancing), Gearoidín Breathnach (Irish language songs).
Tuesday and Wednesday Schedule:
○ 9:30 - 9:45 AM Gathering and mini-Irish Lesson
○ 9:45 - 10:45 AM Irish Song sing-along: Gearoidín Breathnach
○ 11:00a - 12:00pm Crafts: Shannon Lucas-Westrum (St. Brigid's Cross - see description below)
○ 12:00 - 12:45 PM Supervised Lunch (BYO)
○ 12:45 - 1:45 PM Irish ceili dance: Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin
○ 2:00 - 3:30 PM Tin Whistle/Bodhran (Brett Lipshutz and Scott Cincotta)

Craft class: Weavers of all experience levels are invited to weave their own Brigid's Cross.
This workshop requires hand dexterity and includes the use of sharp shears. The instructor will supply all tools and materials needed (woven with Rattan and Irish linen.
St. Brigid's Cross (Cros Bríde in Irish) is a cross traditionally woven from rushes, with 4 arms tied at the end and meeting in a woven patterned square in the centre. Traditionally they were displayed over the door of a house to ward off evil.
