Description: This course is dedicated to the DADGAD tuning, designed for guitarists who wish to explore the rhythmic and harmonic potential of this fascinating tuning within the context of traditional Irish music and beyond.

The course will begin with an introduction to DADGAD tuning and a comparison of different accompaniment styles (traditional, modal, contemporary), before focusing on the modern techniques most commonly used today.

During the lessons, we will cover:

  • The basic chord shapes and the three main positions in DADGAD tuning.
