Teaching S01: Improving Your Vocal Skills
Hank Cramer is a leading musician, historian, and educator from the Pacific Northwest. He has been a professional touring folksinger for over twenty years, and has a repertoire of over 1,000 songs and 21 CD's to his credit. Hank enjoys tying together the story-lines of folk songs with the historic eras from which they emerged, and following the migration of folk tunes and lyrics from one location to another. Hank has taught many music camps and seminars, including Sea Shanty Camps and Cowboy Song & Poetry Camps. He teaches history at several museums and historic sites around the country, using music as the medium by which to tell the story. Hank has taught vocal workshops at a number of folk festivals. Among his many accolades are the 2011 Humanities Washington Award, presented to one person each year for excellence in the arts.
