Ronan Eastwood
Teaching Set Dancing, Evening (M-T-W evenings) and Set Dancing, Afternoon (T-W-Th)
Ronan Eastwood has been set dancing for over 30 years and developed his love of dancing from his parents (his father organized ceilis in Belfast throughout the1940s and 1950s) and 10 sisters and 4 brothers. Ronan has represented his Gaelic Club in the all-Ireland Scór on a number of occasions and was taught many of the dances by the legendary Connie Ryan, as well as Joe and Siobhan O’Donovan. Over the years he has attended workshops given by Pat Murphy, Mike Mulkerrins and Timmy ‘the Brit’ McCarthy.
Having attended these various workshops and going to set-dancing weekends from the 1980s, he began teaching in 1992 and has been teaching set dancing at various venues from beginner level right through to the more advanced levels at regular weekly classes throughout Belfast for well over 25 years.
