workshop will focus on the nuances, ornamentation, bowing, technique and repertoire
associated with this style, as well as incorporating and demonstrating the differences between
East Clare fiddle music and many other regional styles which have also influenced Sorcha’s
playing.
Sorcha has a wealth of experience in teaching fiddle workshops and has developed a “quality
above quantity” approach to tune learning. There will be attention given to the detail of the
tunes and a focus on ensuring each student can play the tune well before moving on.
This class will be geared towards intermediate level players.
