Description: Tommy Sands explores the value of music almost as a 'medicine' for the individual or society. The class is based on a song written by Pete Seeger and Tommy. From Tommy himself: "During the Troubles here, neighbours from both sides came to our farmhouse because of my parents music. My earliest memory was watching toes tapping to the same rhythm regardless of political persuasion or religious affiliation and I realised Music was something that could connect up the secret and sacred things within without our knowing or understanding." Tommy Sands has been praised as one of the most powerful songwriters of our time.
